Rising Storm

At the first sight of the storm
People will run, people will hide
But few will sit to watch
Marvel at the chaos, the disarray

If a sailor is caught
Caught in the storm
Will he fly, flee for his life
Or will he trudge on?

All I know is the reaction
The reaction to be everything
It separates the sane from the insane
Separates the willing and the hopeless

And so I learn
I learn from everyone
That one that watches the storm
Is he who is mad

Because people will run, people will hide
The will hide at the first sight of the storm
But I will stay to watch
And so I am proclaimed mad.
